There’s a feeling I get, when I look to the west …

Since I moved in last year, I wake up and move thru the house feeling slightly enchanted.

The green paint in the living room and my bedroom, the dark wood, the brass, the Persianish rug - it looks very Edwardian and lush especially when tidy. It feels magical

The kitchen and bath, not to mention Cherise’s room, bring me back to Earth, but that feeling of hopeful anticipation is so delicious. I don’t remember feeling this way in Centennial, except in my bedroom. I’d wake up and would feel luxurious in my bed til it was time to get up move around.

But this enchanted witch’s cottage vibe - total love for that

The weather this week had been literally the bluest sky, the warmest sun, and trees going colorful

My pumpkin told me to harvest it once I see a half moon.

Elen and the Bambis walked right past me yesterday morning. I was startled and they jumped the fence

Yesterday was a very unsettled, stressful day, I went to work with a slight headache that eventually disappeared

I was very tired after work yesterday and went straight to bed. I had a long talk with my Padrino today which gave me perspective on recent events, as well as validated several bits of intuition. Today I was a jumble of emotions and very restless. Once my morning chores were done, it was hard to lock in on anything mentally demanding

Instead I mitigated the anxious vibe with a walk in the morning, sweeping the whole patio, and running my work laundry, and tried to focus on bills ( pay check delayed), and moved some more crap into the carport for removals.

I also went downstairs to start cleaning. The basement windows are filthy as hell so I took some time to clean them, when I walked back in, I was overjoyed to see the light and clarity of the windows pouring in there, it was quite lovely

Tomorrow is trash hauling - and the people rejoiced - phone time with a dear friend, work in the evening. Payday as well.
